Title
UTILIZATION OF COMBINED FOSS4G FOR WEB MAP SHARING AND STABLE INTEROPERABILITY -RESEARCH PROJECT ON DISASTER RISK INFORMATION PLATFORM "BOSAI-DRIP" (4)-
Abstract
Some FOSS4G Server and API are utilizing for "Bosai-DRIP".
"e-Community Map" (WebGIS) and "g-Server" (Interoperable Server) are composed by OpanLayers, Geoserver, GeoTools and PostGIS, there was customized by Plugins or Override.
"e-Community Map" integrate as WebGIS application, using FOSS4G with customized interface and some OGC standards (WMS+SLD, WFS-T and WCS). GeoServer is wrapped by "e-Community Map" servlet interface. This interface manage GeoServer request from Web-Client (OpenLayers etc.). For example, WFS-T request is redirected to local GeoServer or remote servers, with user authorization and meta information. And JavaScript library user interface complements application layer services.
"g-Server" capable to data upload (Vector, Raster) and data provide by OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS). "g-Server" wrapped GeoServer and MapSever, and can manage features on web-browser interface.
For stable interoperability. "g-Server" switch to GeoServer and MapServer by data type, and requests are limited to proper data resolution. And system provide service in a duplicate servers. Duplicate logic and interface are implemented by GeoServer Plugin.
In addition to present composition, we will combine more FOSS4G and OGC standards (CSW, Metadata, WPS server).
