GEOCAT BRIDGE - ONE CLICK DATA PUBLISHING

Abstract

A new, proprietary extension has been developed by GeoCat to help bridging the gap between proprietary and open source solutions. GeoCat Bridge allows users to instantly fulfill the INSPIRE requirements for metadata with minimal effort. The goal of this product is to provide a solution that makes it extremely easy for users to publish their data on a GeoNetwork - GeoServer based server solution. Users can use their favorite GIS to process their data, while making optimal use of an open standards, open source based server back end. This extension creates a bridge where both proprietary, open source solution providers and open standards supporters are winners.
